Last weekend.....
Well, I was sitting here thinking about what to write about and then I thought to myself, "Oh, duh! Last weekend!" I'm so smart. So, it all started last Friday. Ballet exams. Ugh, I was soooo stressed out about it. So, I went at 2:15, our exam was at 2:45, that is Jaclyn, Deanna and me. I took my exam, and then was sooo relieved after it was over. I wasn't sure how it went, but I was pretty sure you couldn't fail two years in a row, so I was pretty confident that I'd passed. After exams I went home, took a shower, got ready and went back to the studio to run music for some level 1's exams. Man, does Ms. Sonya like her coffee!!! She had 3 cups while I was there for like an hour! After that I chilled at home with dad while my mom was at a Bible Drill thing (which I had to do the next morning, but I wasn't even thinking about that). We watched King Kong. It was way too long. Hey that rhymed!!! Anyways, slept, then woke up at 7:00 AM to go to Bible Drill. We drilled at 9:30. Then I got Starbucks. Tall Caramel Macchiato. After all that, I went home to finish packing and stuff for CHIOR TOUR!!!!!! Went by Subway to get some lunch and I saw Weston, Skylar, Waldo dad, and Tyler and his dad. Then we got ready and went out on our way to Baton Rouge!!! 5 hours seemed a bit long, but it was fun. By the time we got there we were tired and cranky and hungry, but it was all good, because we were there. And then we ate beignet fingers at Coffee Call. O man they were soooo good!! After we were fillled to the brim with beignets, we headed on the church, Sharon Baptist Church. They said we could eat dinner (hamburgers), but we were all too full to eat anything else. Oh, and meanwhile, ever since we left Houston, it's been pouring down rain. So, after "dinner," we went over to the church's other building for a worship service. We didn't even know there was gonna be a worship service! So we were there for like 2 and a half hours. No joke. Singing most of the time. We were all hoping that we would still have somewhat of a voice to sing with the next morning. After all of that we went to our host homes. Well, actually, Elliott and I were supposed to go to these other people's house, but the wind from the storm blew their electricity out, so we stayed at some other people's house. Nothing super interesting there. Then we sang the next morning for their service, and it went quite well, if I do say so myself. After that we had dinner on the grounds and then the long ride home. Have youever noticed that the ride home's always longer than the ride there? At least that's what it felt like. So, that's pretty much it for that weekend. Tah-dah! And I'm still alive! Oh and by the way, we got our tickets to go to Uganda yesterday. Exactly one month from yesterday we'll be on our way to Entebbe!!!!!!!! Woot woot!!!! Well, I'll see y'all later! Jenna
