Micah 6:8

You could feed the whole world with the crumbs of old bread
Spread the good news through dreams and stones
With a breath of your wind you could raise up the dead
But you ask us to go

Help us love mercy
Help us do justly
Help us walk humbly with you, God

Forget not the widow, the orphan and slave
Oh, God, please remember the helpless today
Call on your children repairing the breach
There's no place too far, where your mercy can't reach

Help us love mercy
Help us do justly
Help us walk humbly with you, God

For the children who sleep beneath cities at dark
Let love come and touch them with your father's heart

That's Charlie Hall's song "Micah 6:8" off of his CD called Flying into Daybreak. Okay, so now it's less than 8 hours until we leave for AFRICA!!!!!!!! I'm all packed and just hoping I remembered everything. My niece is over now for one last time for two weeks. The most disgusting thing I thought this morning was while I was taking a shower, I thought that this is the only shower I'll take until Monday afternoon at least. Ew. Anyways, I'm so excited about going. You know that feeling where you're just ready to go? You're tired of waiting and getting ready and everything and you're just ready to leave? That's right now. In like 4 hours we'll be at the church leaving for the airport. I've still got time to kill. But, back to that song. I found out about that song after the Student Life Conference (see previous posts.) Since then it's become on of my favorite worship songs to play and to listen to. So now it's my prayer for myself and for our group. That we would love mercy. That we would do justly. And that we would walk humbly with our God. Keep us in your prayers as we go. For a safe plane trip. For a great and effective mission while we're there, and for a safe plane ride back. Love you guys, and I'll be in contact every other day, because the electricity's only on every other day, so e-mail me. And for goodness sake, COMMENT!
Amo y'all
Jenna
