Wednesday at camp...

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to write about the last few days of camp when I got back, so I'll write about last Wednesday now........Wednesday morning:

It started with Kathleen's alarm clock waking me up with a "cock-a-doodle-doo!" at 6:15. Fun. Went to breakfast at around 7. After breakfast at 8:15 we went to our Church Quiet Time. When we were done with the Quiet Time we headed over to the Coliseum for Celebration. Todd sang. Nasser talked about Lottie Moon, born Charolette Moon. That was very interesting. After Celebration we went over to our Family Group Bible Study. There we studied about the Parable of The Prodigal Son. From Family Group time I met Keri, Kathleen, Jill, Aimee, Julie, Jaclyn and Elliott at the Stephen F. Austin fountain so we could all go to lunch together. After lunch we chilled for a while until 1:15, time for Recreation. Today we had Family Group Challenge. It was inside, thankfully, because it was soooooo hot outside. Actually, it wasn't as hot as it was last year. We had a whole bunch of activities with our family group in the gym. At the end of Rec the camera guy came by with a camera(duh, Jenna.) and they got us on film introducing the Student Life guy. They said that they would show it at late nite that night, but ya know, they never did. For free time today we just chilled at our dorms and stuff. About 5 'o clock we went to dinner, but by Wednesday night I was tired of cafeteria food. From the cafeteria we went to our Family Group Prayer Gathering. I thought that was a really cool time of the day. I couldn't find Kathleen or Keri, who I usually walked back to the Coliseum for the night worhip service with, so I walked back with some people from my family group. Worship was good tonight. Todd sang. Nasser talked about Jesus being the Light of the World. That was really awesome. Sorry, but I'm gonna cut you off in the middle of this story(yes, there's more), because I have to go to bed now. I have to get up early for an orthodontist appointment, fun times. Well, I'll write about the rest of Wednesday night tomorrow. ttyl,
Jenna
